This anthology of Scottish-set Christmas romances contains stories by Terri Brisbin, Lecia Cornwall, Bronwen Evans, Lavinia Kent and May McGoldrick.
Take several strong Highlander males and mix them with determined and smart heroines and you get lots of delicious reading. The snow many be swirling and the wind whistling through the Highlands of Scotland but romance is strong within these tales. Heroines range from the village harlot to prickly spinsters while the heroes…they’re men that any reader is sure to fall in love with. The plots aren’t overly complicated, but they propelled this reader onward.
Normally in an anthology, there are one or two stories I don’t care for and skip over, but I devoured this entire offering. The stories in Christmas in Kilts are perfect bite-sized treats to read during the busy run-up to Christmas. If you’re a fan of historical romances, I highly recommend this one.
